At KIDS PREP ACADEMY in Phoenix, AZ, we believe that a successful transition into formal schooling is essential and can depict a child’s long-term academic success. With our special needs program, parent involvement in transition preparation activities differs by district, local, and the family’s socioeconomic status.

We offer a family engagement/pre-kindergarten assessment to evaluate which skills families assist their children with at home to ensure a successful transition to kindergarten. The assessment includes:

  • Language and literacy skills assessment
  • Science and social studies assessment
  • Social and emotional assessment
  • Inclusion Support
  • Quality First Member
